The Long Reach is a title we heard about for Switch last year. Although it missed its original target window, we now have a release date. Merge Games and Painted Black Games have announced that The Long Reach will be available on March 14.

The Long Reach is an adventure game, but also “a thrilling horror story, flavored with sci-fi ideology, psychological context and a sceptical view on the human psyche.” We have more information and a trailer below.

Earlier this month, a physical version of Darkest Dungeon was listed on Amazon Germany. The news has now been officially announced.

Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition launches for Switch in March. It’ll feature the original game plus the two expansions, The Crimson Court and The Shieldbreaker. Merge Games will be publishing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.

If you can’t wait for Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition, you can purchase the game right now on the Switch eShop.

Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure has been updated on Switch to version 1.0.2. This was the graphical and performance patch that we covered previously.

Unbox now runs at 1280×720 in portable mode and 1366×768 when docked. The graphics quality has been improved, and frame rate should be more stable. The team has also implemented bug fixes.

The Count Lucanor landed on Switch a few months ago. However, the game has only been sold digitally on the eShop.

Those who have expressed interest in a physical copy of The Count Lucanor may soon have their voices heard. Over on Amazon Spain, a listing for the game has popped up. You’ll receive a cartridge and an “exclusive” manual with a purchase.

Amazon Spain lists a tentative January 31 release date for The Count Lucanor’s physical Switch version.
