Pokemon Pokopia announces first event, adds Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff

Pokemon Pokopia launch is just starting to take place, and we already know about the game’s first event which will feature Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. These three creatures will be added to the game.
The event kicks off on March 10. The event, Hoppip’s Cotton, will bring in Cotton and lets players befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. Cotton can be exchanged for new items which are used to make habitats for Skiploom and Jumpluff. The event concludes on March 25, 2026.

Pokemon Pokopia 1.0.1 update out now, patch notes

Pokemon Pokopia has already started distribution of its first update with version 1.0.1. If you’ve pre-loaded the game, you should see it going out shortly.
This is a day-one patch for the game. The good news is that there isn’t much here – some unspecified issues have been addressed, but that’s pretty much it. We sometimes see games launch with big day one updates, but that won’t be the case this time around.

Pokemon Pokopia will be available in just a few days, and before the launch happens, reviews are starting to come in.
Pokemon Pokopia is a new spin-off that takes the series in a different direction. The life simulation game, which some have said is like Animal Crossing and Minecraft, has you playing as the human-like Ditto as you learn moves from Pokemon, collect materials, build furniture, grow vegetables, and create homes. Multiplayer is also supported with up to three other players in which it’s possible to visit other towns and invite friends to their own.

Game Freak explains where the Pokemon Pokopia name comes from

Pokemon is about to get its next spinoff game with the upcoming launch of Pokemon Pokopia. Now thanks to Game Freak’s Shigeru Ohmori, we’re able to learn about where the name actually comes from.
Ohmori spoke about this in a recent interview with Famitsu. It looks like there’s a few things at play here. Ohmori mentioned wanting to go with “a slightly looser” title, and using certain phrases that eventually led to “Poko A Pokemon” in Japanese.

Yoshinao Yamagishi, the development producer for Dynasty Warriors: Origins on Nintendo Switch 2, has spoken about this new version of the hack and slash title.
Speaking with Dengeki Online, Yamagishi acknowledged that Koei Tecmo didn’t initially know it would be possible. to bring the game over. However, the company knew about fan interest in set out to making the port possible.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment seems to have hit this major milestone fairly quickly. The game launched in November, and Koei Tecmo’s financial results are through December 31, 2025.

Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered has been delayed. Koei Tecmo took to social media today and shared the news.
Originally, the game was planned for March 19, 2026. However, no new date has been provided at this time.
