Console Archives Dezaemon

Hamster has a new Console Archives game dropping this week, which is Dezaemon. Fans can grab it tomorrow, February 19.

Athena was behind the original release of the title, which happened in 1991. This creation tool lets players make their own shooting game.

Arcade Archives Mega Zone

Mega Zone is being added to the lineup of Arcade Archives lineup, Hamster has announced. The game launches for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch tomorrow, February 12.

You have to go all the way back to 1984 for the title’s initial debut. Konami originally made the shooter.

Hamster announced its new Console Archives line yesterday which follows in the footsteps of Arcade Archives, and now the company has shared the initial wave of games. This comes as part of a live stream that aired today.

Specific release dates haven’t been shared. However, we know that the following games are currently on the way:

Arcade Archives 2 Rave Racer

A new game has been announced for the Arcade Archives 2 line, which is Rave Racer. It’s planned for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Additionally, Console Archives has been revealed. These include Doraemon, Sonic Wings Special, Cool Boards, and Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos. The latter two launch today.

Arcade Archives Top Speed

Hamster is bringing Top Speed to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the company confirmed today. Look for it tomorrow, February 5.

Taito originally released the title, also known as Full Throttle, in 1987. The racer features a nitro boost to spice things up a bit.

Arcade Archives Quester

Today, Hamster announced that Quester will be joining the Arcade Archives line on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’ll be out tomorrow, January 29.

Namco initially launched the game in 1987. This is a brick breaker that tasks players with safely returning to Earth as they defeat enemies, which come in the form of blocks.

For its latest Arcade Archives release, Hamster has announced Labyrinth Runner. The game will be available tomorrow, January 22, for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Labyrinth Runner, which came out in 1988, was originally made by Konami. The shooter has players going on a mission to rescue the kidnapped Princess Papaya.

Arcade Archives Bomb Jack Twin

The next entry in the Arcade Archives series is Bomb Jack Twin, Hamster announced today. It’ll be out for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch tomorrow, January 15.

Bomb Jack Twin first launched in 1993. In the action game, you’ll dodge enemy attacks and collect combs on the stage.

Arcade Archives Touchdown Fever

Hamster has confirmed the latest Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch, which is Touchdown Fever. It arrives tomorrow, January 8. Note that there is no native Nintendo Switch 2 version, but it’ll work on the console via backwards compatibility. 

SNK was behind the original launch of Touchdown Fever. The 1987 title is a sports game based on American football.

Following up on the original game last week, Space Invaders Part 2 has been announced as the latest Arcade Archives game. Fans can grab it tomorrow, January 1.

The game launched in 1979, one year after the previous title. There’s more shooting gameplay to be found here, but now with new enemy tactics and the Rainbow Bonus.
