Solateria receives Nintendo Switch release date, new trailer

Shinsegae and Studio Doodal today provided an update on Solateria. The title is hitting Nintendo Switch on July 23, 2026, the two sides have confirmed.

We haven’t had too long to wait for Solateria’s Nintendo Switch release date. News about the title appearing on the console was just shared back in February.

Since its Steam release, Solateria has surpassed 300 user reviews (currently around 380) and holds a “Very Positive” rating. While early feedback highlighted the challenging nature of its parry-focused combat system, the development team has actively responded with continuous updates. Adjustments such as relaxed parry timing, refined combat difficulty, and improved exploration quality-of-life have steadily enhanced the overall experience. As a result, player sentiment has gradually shifted in a more positive direction, reinforcing the game’s reputation for its polished combat and gameplay depth.

Solateria is a parry-focused Metroidvania, where players take on the role of Tott, a small fire warrior with no memories who sets out to find the vanished King and save his world from the Shadow Plague.
