Pokemon Deluxe Character Guide Limited Edition pre-orders return after selling out, plus discount available

Original: Good news for Pokemon fans: if you missed out on the Pokemon Deluxe Character Guide Limited Edition after pre-orders went live a few days ago, they’re available once again.

The guide was revealed last week with two versions: a standard copy and the previously-mentioned limited edition. However, after about a day, pre-orders of the limited edition sold out on Amazon. Other than GameStop, there wasn’t anywhere you could get it.

The Pokemon Deluxe Character Guide Limited Edition has now returned, and for the first time, it’s on sale. You can pre-order it with a 7 percent discount and you’ll be saving around $14. If you previously put in a reservation, the new price should be reflected automatically. We’ll mention that the same 7 percent discount is also being offered for the standard copy.

As previously covered, the Pokemon Deluxe Character Guide is packed with characters from every region and on all platforms across animation, video games, the Pokemon Trading Card Game, and more. It also includes a foreword written by president and CEO of The Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara.

The Pokemon Deluxe Character Guide will be available on August 25, 2026.

Update: The limited edition guide has sold out once again. However, GameStop still has it here. If it comes back in stock again on Amazon, we’ll update this post.
