Based on comments from New Blood Interactive’s Dave Oshry, Nintendo is being careful with which games it’s allowing on Switch 2.
New Blood Interactive has development kits and even has a new version of Dusk ready to go, which runs at 120 FPS. However, they haven’t been given the go ahead to actually bring it out. Oshry told RPG Site that Nintendo is “still pretty cagey about letting games launch on Switch 2” and mentioned that the company doesn’t “want it to just become a giant slop fest like the Switch 1 eShop”.
Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village just came to Nintendo Switch 2 a few days ago, and Digital Foundry has now come through with a technical analysis which includes frame rate, resolution, and more.
Resident Evil 7 seems to be the better port, which makes sense since Village has evolved tech. While the resolution in Village seems fine, the performance could use some improvements.

The latest Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of March 7, 2026 are now available.
Unsurprisingly, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen lead again this week as there isn’t much competition to push those games out. There’s a good chance the games will be staying where they are until the release of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream next month.

Thunderful and Wishfully brought Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf to Nintendo Switch 2 this week. Following up on that, we have the launch trailer for the cinematic puzzle adventure game.

Today, we’re going over a list that includes more commonly-mispronounced Pokemon names. Some of them are particularly surprising!
During the 2025 Pokemon World Championships event, the official Pokemon Twitter account put out some commonly-mispronounced Pokemon names. And it makes sense why people pronounce some of them wrong: the games don’t have any voice acting, so for the most part players don’t hear the names of creatures spoken out loud unless someone brings them up in conversation. Even then, it’s very easy to accidentally pronounce them wrong or put emphasis on the wrong syllable.
The situation with amiibo pricing seems to be taking another turn as it now looks like the figure line has hit a new record price.
The news only applies to the Kirby Air Riders series – at least for now. Nintendo dated the King Dedede & Tank Star figure for July 2 a few days ago. Unfortunately, it’s costing more than fans had hoped.
