Nintendo Gamescom 2026

Nintendo will be attending Gamescom 2026, it’s been announced.

Specifics about the company’s activities have yet to be confirmed. However, as always, you can expect playable demos, and attendees can also look forward to various events such as tournaments.

Nintendo had previously taken a long absence from Gamescom. In 2023, the company attended for the first since in four years. Nintendo then skipped 2024 and was back for 2025. This is now the second consecutive year that the Big N will be showcasing its games.

We should mention that Gamescom is the biggest gaming event of the year – especially following the death of E3. Last year, over 350,000 people stopped by for the expo. This was a 6.5 percent increase of the previous year and a new record.

Nintendo won’t be the only major company at Gamescom this year. Expect other big names such as SEGA and Capcom to show up.

Gamescom 2026 will take place between August 26 and August 30 in Cologne, Germany.
