Ganbare Goemon Daishuugo announced for Nintendo Switch

Specifically in today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, Ganbare Goemon Daishuugo has been revealed for Nintendo Switch. Japan is getting it on July 2, 2026.
Ganbare Goemon Daishuugo features 13 different games. These are spread out across the Famicom, Super Famicom, and Game Boy. As of now no western release has been announced.

Culdcept Begins announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Culdcept is back after a lengthy absence with the just-revealed Culdcept Begins. The game will be arriving on July 16, 2026.
Neos is behind Culdcept Begins, which mixes board and card games together. In the game, players become Cepters, wielding cards in intense battles where luck and strategy collide.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger coming to Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Digimon Story Time Stranger is slated for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, Bandai Namco has announced. It’ll be ready to go on July 10, 2026.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger initially launched towards the end of last year. Performance Mode and Quality Modes will be supported on Nintendo Switch 2.

The next part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake saga is on the way to Nintendo Switch 2 with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth getting a spotlight during the latest Nintendo Direct. Square Enix showed off the port for the first time today. It’s dropping on June 3, 2026.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second part part of the Remake trilogy. Square Enix is cooking up the final game which has not been officially revealed as of yet.
Super Bomberman Collection revealed for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, out today

Konami is releasing a new Super Bomberman Collection for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the company revealed today. It’s coming to both platforms today.
Super Bomberman Collection is a package containing a total of seven titles with twelve versions. Some content is included here that previously never made it to the west.

Planet of Lana 2 now has a release date on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Announced today, it will be available on March 5, 2026. A demo will be coming soon.
Planet of Lana 2 was first made known for Nintendo’s platforms back in September. Last we heard, it was planned for early 2026.

February 2026 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase live stream

The February 2026 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is starting in just a bit, and for those looking to tune in, we have the live stream. It begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe. As previously announced, the presentation will be roughly 30 minutes long.
As this is a Partner Showcase, we’ll mostly be hearing out third-party games. A Nintendo-published game or two could slip in, but don’t expect to see the next big 3D Mario or Zelda here.

Sniper Dan heading to Nintendo Switch

PQube and Denki are making Sniper Dan for Nintendo Switch, the two sides shared today. They have yet to confirm launch timing.
Sniper Dan is a playful, problem-solving twist on the hidden object genre. According to PQube, the game is a “wholesome take on long-range precision, where the goal is not to defeat enemies but to solve everyday problems from a sensible distance.”
