LEGO Party 1.4.0 update Bonus Bricks

LEGO Party is going live with a new version 1.4.0 update on Nintendo Switch, which will add some new features.

A few new elements are included. For instance, now players can add Bonus Bricks to the end of Challenge Zones. New content includes new 2v2 versions of Minigames in Brick Battles & Minigame Rush as well as new Minifigures in the Wardrobes.

A new statement has come in from Aspyr in which the company denied that Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered recently used generative AI for some of its content.

Last week, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered received a major update with its Challenge Mode. However, fans weren’t happy with the results. The unlockable outfits in particular have drawn criticism and some players feel that they’re not up to quality standards. Some went as far as to claim that the outfits make use of generative AI.

Triple-i Showcase 2026

The Triple-i Initiative is returning for a 2026 show, it’s just been announced. The event airs on April 9 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

The show will feature 45 minutes of back-to-back trailers. Expect to see gameplay reveals, world premieres, and other announcements across 40+ games.

9 R.I.P. Sequel

Idea Factory intends to release 9 R.I.P. Sequel on Nintendo Switch worldwide, the company has announced. Fans in North America and Europe can grab it later in 2026.

9 R.I.P. Sequel follows in the footsteps of its predecessor as another otome visual novel. The new title features nine full routes, including direct continuations of the previous Heavenly and Godly Endings from the last entry. There’ll also be new sub characters and bonus content that can be unlocked as fans navigate through the story.

Hollow Knight: Silksong update 5

Team Cherry has announced a fifth patch 5 for Hollow Knight: Silksong, bringing along some notable additions to the game. Labeled as version 1.0.29926, this marks the final major update ahead of the upcoming DLC Sea of Sorrow.

The patch includes standard bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as updates to the Chinese and German translations. The developer has confirmed that the update will be released soon for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

THQ Nordic has announced a few new games for Nintendo Switch 2 with Destroy All Humans, Destroy All Humans 2 – Reprobed, and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed for the system. All of these games will be released throughout 2026.

Additionally, we have a note on SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. This one was previously launched on Nintendo Switch 2, but will now come to the original Nintendo Switch.

February 5: Today, Bandai Namco announced Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters for Nintendo Switch. The title launches in 2026.

The new project, made by Tamsoft, “turns soccer matches into thrilling, unexpected battles where players can now unleash super moves for everything from dribbling and tackling to passing and shots on goal.” It features 22 national teams, over 110 playable characters, and more than 150 new moves.

Splatoon 3 11.1.0 update

Nintendo has announced a new version 11.1.0 update for Splatoon 3. It will be released tomorrow night – March 18 in North America / March 19 in Europe.

According to Nintendo, the patch is focused on changes to matchmaking and multiplayer balance. Aside from adjustments to weapons, there are also modifications to X Battle matchmaking.

Is this Game Trying to Kill Me is receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. Limited Run Games is handling production.

There’ll be just a standard version for this one, so no special editions. However, each unit will come with a booklet.
