MIO Memories in Orbit physical

It wasn’t too long ago that MIO: Memories in Orbit hit Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch digitally, but now a physical release has been revealed. According to retailers, the game will be out in boxed format on April 10, 2026.

There’ll only be a standard version available. However, we should note that the Nintendo Switch 2 version is a full cartridge, not a game-key card.

Mario Kart World

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending January 31, 2026 is now available.

It’s a good week for Nintendo with the company’s games taking up the first few spots. It’s Mario Kart World in first, followed by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The latest Nintendo Switch 2 eShop charts for the week of February 1, 2026 are now available.

It must be good to be Square Enix right now as it has two games at the top. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade still leads, but Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined is right behind thanks to pre-loads. Other new titles include Dispatch at #3 and Grid Legends at #7.

This week’s issue of Famitsu contains information showing Japan’s top 100 best-selling games of 2025. The results were based on data collected between December 30, 2024 and December 28, 2025.

While we previously knew this based on a much more restricted list, yes, Mario Kart World leads the chart at over two million copies sold at retail. Other titles in the top ten include Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. 80 percent of the games here were released on either Nintendo Switch 2 or Switch.

WWE 2K26

January 30: 2K and Visual Concepts today announced WWE 2K26, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in a big way. The game launches on March 13, 2026.

WWE 2K26, which will feature current World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk on its cover, is bringing in some new elements. The title will feature its largest roster yet, new match types, gameplay upgrades, and more.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

Nintendo has updated the Japanese Switch and Switch 2 release schedule on eShop for the week of February 5, 2026. Various new titles are on the way, highlighted by Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined and Lovish.

December 18: Falcom has just announced Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. The title is slated for both Nintendo Switch, and the Switch 2 sometime in Fall 2026.

This is the sequel to Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, and part of the ongoing remakes for the Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series.
