June 6: As part of Sumemr Game Fest 2025, Capcom shared a Year 3 character reveal for Street Fighter 6.
Sagat is up first this summer. Then in the fall, we’ll be seeing C. Viper. Early Spring 2026 will bring us Alex. Finally, in late spring of next year, we’ll be seeing Ingrid.

Demon Castle Story hitting Nintendo Switch 2, Switch next week

Demon Castle Story has shared the news about its next release on Nintendo platforms, which is Demon Castle Story. It’ll be out for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on April 9, 2026.
Demon Castle Story is a dungeon management simulation game. If playing on the new console, you can expect a wider display area and clearer pixel art, 4K resolution when docked, and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.

Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition is set to appear on Nintendo Switch 2, Bandai Namco revealed today. The game is scheduled for a May 29, 2026 launch.
Nintendo Switch previously received Little Nightmares 2 back in 2021. For the Enhanced Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, players can look forward to improved visual effects and a higher frame rate.

Pokemon Home 4.0.0 update released, support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Pokemon Champions added – patch notes

As previously announced, Pokemon Home has received a version 4.0.0 update. Users should be seeing the update roll out now on mobile and Nintendo Switch devices. Keep in mind that the app’s servers are currently undergoing maintenance, making the software unusable until 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM in the UK / 2 PM in Europe.
The new update brings with it support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the upcoming Pokemon Champions game. Latin American Spanish has also been added as a language option, and that is pretty much it.

Fruit Mountain Party gets release date, will be on Nintendo Switch 2, new trailer

Today, BeXide revealed the release date for Fruit Mountain Party. It will be available for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on April 23, 2026.
We previously heard about Fruit Mountain Party in 2024. Only Nintendo Switch was included in that initial announcement. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game features an improved frame rate and GameShare support.

Nintendo Switch Online now has icons for using GameChat

In an interesting move, Nintendo Switch Online has added in new icons for those that give GameChat a shot.
This is a limited time event. To get involved, select the proper icon on the home menu or press the C button on the Joy-Con 2 controller. If you completed the initial GameChat setup, you’ll be given My Nintendo Platinum Points which can be redeemed for icon elements.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition icons live on Switch Online

March 25: Super Mario Bros. Wonder is just now releasing its new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and to celebrate, fans can pick up new icons on Switch Online. Only a base membership is required, so you don’t need to be a part of the Expansion Pack tier.
Designs are available for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Rosalina is now playable, and she’s gotten a couple of icons (and there are plenty of others as well). For characters, you’ll need to fork over 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points as usual.
