These days we’re used to hearing about price increases, but in the case of amiibo, it looks like there’s a bit of a cut happening.

For now the news seems to be for three specific upcoming figures. First, for Meta Knight’s Kirby Air Riders amiibo, this was initially priced at $49.99, but is now down to $44.99. We also know that Mario will soon have his own figure along with Rosalina for Super Mario Galaxy. They were initially set at $39.99, but have dropped to $34.99.

Bandit Trap

November 18: Bandit Trap will be released on Nintendo Switch 2, publisher PM Studios and developer Picomy announced today. The launch is taking place on February 6, 2025.

Bandit Trap is a three-versus-one multiplayer action game. In it, players take on the role of either scheming Bandit or intrepid Trapper, and it’s all about stealing treasure.

After what’s been a controversial past few days – to say the least – for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch versions of Dispatch, developer AdHoc has followed up with a lengthy statement of its own.

We technically already heard from the studio a few days ago, but that was a brief message. Now the team has taken to Discord and provided fans with a big explanation and hope regarding a future update.

Greyhill Incident: Re-probed Edition

Perp Games is planning a new Nintendo Switch version of Greyhill Incident with a “Re-probed Edition” release, the company has announced. It’ll be ready to go on February 10, 2026.

Greyhill Incident was a pretty anticipated horror game a few years back. While the reception didn’t live up to the initial hype, there’s now new content and an alternative ending which will hopefully prop up the experience a bit.

Apex Legends is going offline on Nintendo Switch later this year, EA and Respawn Entertainment announced today. Those playing the game on the console will be unable to do so starting August 4, 2026.

For those playing on Nintendo Switch 2, that version will be unaffected. It can still be accessed going forward and there are currently no plans to shut down on that console.

Octopath Traveler 0 update

Square Enix has issued a new update for Octopath Traveler 0. If you’re not seeing it on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, it should be available soon.

Octopath Traveler 0 has made improvements to performance as well as sound quality. Additionally, the team has addressed several fixes.

Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Iridium Studios plan on bringing their upcoming title People of Note to Nintendo Switch 2, the two sides announced today. A release is expected in 2026.

People of Note is a turn-based RPG, but revolves around musical numbers. You’ll follow the journey of Cadence as she recruits an ensemble of musicians on her quest for stardom.
