As previously announced, Pokemon Home has received a version 4.0.0 update. Users should be seeing the update roll out now on mobile and Nintendo Switch devices. Keep in mind that the app’s servers are currently undergoing maintenance, making the software unusable until 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM in the UK / 2 PM in Europe.

The new update brings with it support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the upcoming Pokemon Champions game. Latin American Spanish has also been added as a language option, and that is pretty much it.

Fruit Mountain Party release date

Today, BeXide revealed the release date for Fruit Mountain Party. It will be available for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on April 23, 2026.

We previously heard about Fruit Mountain Party in 2024. Only Nintendo Switch was included in that initial announcement. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game features an improved frame rate and GameShare support.

In an interesting move, Nintendo Switch Online has added in new icons for those that give GameChat a shot.

This is a limited time event. To get involved, select the proper icon on the home menu or press the C button on the Joy-Con 2 controller. If you completed the initial GameChat setup, you’ll be given My Nintendo Platinum Points which can be redeemed for icon elements.

March 25: Super Mario Bros. Wonder is just now releasing its new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and to celebrate, fans can pick up new icons on Switch Online. Only a base membership is required, so you don’t need to be a part of the Expansion Pack tier.

Designs are available for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Rosalina is now playable, and she’s gotten a couple of icons (and there are plenty of others as well). For characters, you’ll need to fork over 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points as usual.

We have initial results for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at the office, and the film is already breaking records.

First, it’s been revealed that the movie earned $34 million for its debut, which is the best opening day so far this year. It beat out Project Hail Mary, which brought in $33.1 million for its Friday release/previews.
