Pokemon Pokopia has seen some tough competition as of late, and this time around, the game battles Monster Hunter Stories 3. However, it’s still Pokemon in first here. It’d be interesting to see what the results would be if the different versions of Monster Hunter Stories 3 were combined, but for now, it has spots at #2, #4, and #14.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

New data provided by Famitsu gives us a look at Japan’s best-selling games of February 2026.

Dragon Quest has long been popular in the country, so it’s no surprise that it’s the best-seller here and takes up the top three slots. On Nintendo platforms alone, it sold over 400,000 copies at retail. While it’s not in the top five, Mario Tennis Fever moved 54,099 units while the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties sold 18,929 copies.

Zelda 40th anniversary predictions

This year, The Legend of Zelda series is celebrating its 40th anniversary. And today, we’ve got a bold prediction for what we’ll see for its big anniversary: absolutely nothing.

In all seriousness, though, the timeline doesn’t line up for there to be a new 3D or 2D Zelda anytime soon. Tears of the Kingdom was in development for well over five years, and it released in 2023. Given that games are only getting bigger and more ambitious since then, there’s no way a new 3D Zelda would be ready even within another five years – it’s likely going to take a little longer than that. Likewise, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom released in 2024, and though we don’t have an exact development timeline, it’s safe to assume it started shortly after the Link’s Awakening remake wrapped up in 2019. That being said, it’s entirely possible that we see ports or a simple remake this year, though nothing has yet been confirmed at the time of writing. Some fans are even convinced that there will be a Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct – but there’s no way Nintendo has enough content coming up to pull that off, right?

The latest Famitsu review scores for the week of March 14, 2026 are as follows:

HORI has announced plans for a new Switch 2 racing wheel stylized after Mario Kart World, which has been officially licensed by Nintendo. Based on retailer listings, it’s slated for March 23, 2026.

While Mario Kart World is advertised here, it’ll work with other racing games, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Additionally, based on the product description, it’s compatible with the original Nintendo Switch as well as its OLED model even though that’s not prominent in the advertising.
