A little interesting discovery has been made regarding the recent Switch 2 and Switch update, as Nintendo made some changes to a number of Mario icons.
It looks like for the first batch, new renders are being used. The differences can be a bit hard to spot, but they are present.

Super Mario Run has now kicked off its latest event, which ties in with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Make sure you’ve updated to version 3.4.0.
During the event period, players will be able to earn statues and more. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are in the first set. Captain Toad and Princess Peach are in the second. Finally, Bowser Jr. and Bowser are in the third.

It’s now official that the Nintendo Switch version of Ratatan has been cancelled.
You may recall that the game was featured in an Indie World Showcase presentation earlier this year. A Nintendo Switch 2 version was announced, but the original Switch version was nowhere to be seen. Now we know what happened.

Genius Sonority is preparing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of The New Denpa Men, the company announced today. It’s only a few days out with the release date set for April 6, 2026.
The New Denpa Men will largely be the same experience as it was on Nintendo Switch. However, this new version has smoother visuals thanks to a higher frame rate and a higher resolution.
