Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of April 5, 2026:

Two new sessions have been added to the docket. With the first one, there’ll be a bit of eShop downtime. Following that, a session is planned involving Nintendo Switch Online on the Home Menu.

Below is the full Nintendo maintenance schedule for the week of April 5, 2026:

All Nintendo Switch 2 game key card games

Following the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, we’re putting together a complete list of Nintendo Switch 2 games with a game-key card release.

This is a new approach to physical media, which has seen a mixed reaction. In a way, it’s a hybrid between a true physical release and a download code. Each box comes with a cartridge, but there’s nothing really included. Rather than coming with all content, you’ll need to download the game first. After that you don’t need to connect online, but you need to insert the card each time you play.

Switch demos

Thousands of games are currently available on Nintendo Switch, and there are a ton of demos out there for many of them. Not just Nintendo, but also third-parties are offering demos. We’ve now put together a comprehensive list of what’s out there.

Since our reader base is English-speaking, that’s what we’re focusing on here. In other words, we’re highlighting Switch demos that you can find in North America and Europe. Japan has a few extra demos on its end, but a majority of them are for titles that are not currently being sold in the west and are only playable in Japanese.

The latest Famitsu review scores for the week of April 4, 2026 are as follows:

Donna Orlowski, the COO of Chucklefish, has explained why Witchbrook has taken so long to release.

Back in 2016, the project was first teased. A year later, it was announced as Spellbrook, and then became Witchbrook in 2018. We’ve essentially seen the last decade fly by, but the game has still yet to debut.

According to a developer that worked on Mario Strikers Charged, there was some consideration for having Link in Mario Strikers Charged.

As a Mario game, Strikers Charged expectedly stuck with characters associated with that franchise. However, there was the possibility of bringing in that famous character from The Legend of Zelda.

Pokemon Pokopia Mystery Gift codes

Pokemon Pokopia is now starting to receive codes for Mystery Gift, and this post will round them all up as they’re released. We’ll keep our list updated with expiring ones as well.

Fans can take advantage of codes and distributions to obtain different items. Expect to see decorations and more.
