Super Mario-kun manga may finally be ending after more then 30 years
Super Mario-kun has been a long-running manga in Japan having started in 1990, but it could finally be coming to an end soon.
We’re hearing that the series has reached its final arc. The story seems to be wrapping up and fans believe that it won’t be long until it’s over.
Outside of Japan, Super Mario-kun is a bit more obscure. There hasn’t been an easy way to catch up on the manga from start to finish.
One thing that we did see was the Super Mario Manga Mania at the very end of 2020. Viz Media introduced the series to English-speaking fans by offering a compilation of sorts. Super Mario Manga Mania is available on Amazon right now here with a bit of a discount.
We also saw Super Mario-kun in Super Mario Maker as a costume. This was offered in celebration of the manga’s 25th anniversary.
Do you have any experience with Super Mario-kun, whether through the Japanese manga or Super Mario Manga Mania? Let us know in the comments.
