How to redeem Mystery Gift codes

The process of redeeming Mystery Gift codes in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet is thankfully straightforward and fairly similar to other entries in the series. Simply follow the steps outlined below.

1. Launch Pokemon Pokopia
2. Walk to the PC in your town and press the A Button to check it
3. Select Get Items
4. Select Mystery Gifts
5. Select Get with Code/Password to connect to the Internet
6. Enter your code 
7. Watch as the gift arrives in your game (automatic saving happens right after)

Note that the Mystery Gift option is not immediately available when you initially start the game. You’ll gain access to the PC via the Pokemon Center after roughly 30 minutes of play time.
