Fox McCloud revealed for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has confirmed the presence of a major Nintendo character, with Fox McCloud set to appear.

News about the character’s role in the film was just shared on social media. A poster of Fox McCloud – the leading character of Star Fox – was posted for fans to see.

It’s currently unclear what sort of role Fox will have in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. However, the fact that he’s getting his own dedicated poster certainly makes things interesting.

Other Nintendo characters will also be showing up in the movie, but they seem to be more on the side of cameos. R.O.B. and Pikmin were previously confirmed.

As for how Fox fits into The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, for now we can only speculate. That said, Star Fox is set in space and that’s what we’re getting in the film, so perhaps the two worlds colliding isn’t entirely farfetched.
