CD Projekt Red recently published its latest financial results and it includes an interesting look at the platform sales split for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Even in 2025, the Nintendo Switch version was still selling. PC had by far the highest percent of sales at 55 percent, but Nintendo’s console contributed with 10 percent. That’s actually the same percentage as Xbox. Also, it’s not terribly far off from PlayStation’s 25 percent.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt actually had its highest percentage of sales on Nintendo Switch in 2020, a year after the port launched. It was at 28 percent – the highest amount for any console version. Nintendo Switch again sold the most on consoles in 2022.

The Nintendo Switch version released well after the initial 2015 launch, so it makes sense that the port initially gardened quite a bit of interest. However, from a technical standpoint, it’s below the PlayStation and Xbox versions even though it’s a competent port. Despite the lower specs, there’s been continued interest in the Nintendo Switch edition. CD Projekt previously indicated it was very happy with sales of the game on Nintendo’s console.

Below is a look at sales for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt throughout the years:

Something else we’ll throw in is sales for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s a bit less interesting as there’s only one year of data for the Nintendo Switch 2 version to look at, but in 2025, sales were at 10 percent for that platform.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on Nintendo Switch. Cyberpunk 2077 can be purchased for Nintendo Switch 2.
