Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition has been spotted

SEGA appears to be working on Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition. Although there’s been no official announcement, a rating for the game has now surfaced in Korea from The Game Rating and Administration Committee.

The rating doesn’t provide any information and technically doesn’t confirm a Nintendo release. However, we’d be surprised if Nintendo Switch 2 wasn’t included in the plans here. Sonic Frontiers was a little rough on the original Nintendo Switch from a technical standpoint, so a Switch 2 version could greatly improve the experience. SEGA could also choose to include new content / features.

Sonic Frontiers originally launched in 2022. Sonic the Hedgehog celebrates its 35th anniversary this year and this could be one way in which SEGA is celebrating.
