Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream just got a demo on the Nintendo eShop, includes a bonus for finishing

Nintendo has been moving away from eShop demos as of late, but one just dropped for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.

This comes a little less than a month before the game’s launch. To access the demo, simply head on over to the store and visit the game’s page. It’s specifically called “Tomodachi: Living the Dream – Welcome Version”.

Those who finish the demo will be given a hamster costume for their Mii charater to wear. Additionally, progress transfers to the full version.

Become the caretaker of an island full of silliness, drama, love and other surprises in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream for Nintendo Switch!

Create all sorts of Mii characters based on your family and friends, someone you admire, or someone completely original! From their appearance to their personality traits and even little quirks, there are all sorts of ways to customise your Mii characters – including face parts that are unique to this game.

Adjust each individual detail to your liking or create Mii characters by answering a series of simple questions. Help them explore their likes and dislikes, form relationships, and get up to all sorts of wacky fun. Your Mii characters are bound to surprise you as they take on a life of their own!

By picking up and placing Mii characters next to each other, they’ll start hanging out together. Watch as they forge unlikely friendships, get into fights, fall in (and out of) love unexpectedly, and so much more.

As you care for your Mii characters, you’ll learn what makes them tick. Give them food, outfits, gifts, and – most importantly – advice as they deal with the ups and downs of daily island life. You can even teach your Mii characters different words and catchphrases which they’ll start using!

Expand and design your island as you see fit. Place homes, shops, restaurants, and more to give your island residents new hang out spots to visit. Want to make your Mii characters feel at home? Decorate their rooms with different interior sets, including furniture, wallpaper and floors to match their vibe.

Get crafty by making original items at the Studio Workshop! From unique exteriors for houses and ground tiles for decorating floors, to pets, food, clothing, and more. Have fun creating all sorts of unique things for your Mii characters to enjoy!
