Clear River Games and City Connection sent out a launch trailer for Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers. This marks the return of the Jaleco series with a new title for Nintendo Switch 2.

Catch up on everything you need to know with the following details:

A triumphant return to form, the much-loved franchise is back with new features, new playable characters, a host of eye-popping new combos and a fresh lick of graphical paint, guaranteeing a thrill packed ride for brawler fans everywhere! Whether gamers know the classic Jaleco series back when Rushing Beat / Rival Turf! was released, its sequel Rushing Beat Ran / Brawl Brothers came out, or this is their first time to Neo Cisco, they’ll be stepping into a beat ‘em up classic!

Go it alone, or better yet, team up with a fellow brawler and rid the neon-soaked streets of Neo Cisco from the nefarious Zeekus virus, which threatens to turn the cities inhabitants into a horde of mindless zombies, intent on terrorizing, destroying and even a little dancing (trust us, it gets weird).

Refreshed, rebooted and released today, Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers reunites Rick Norton and Douglas Bild as they join forces with a host of new characters, each with distinctive moves and attributes as they battle to discover the true nature of the evil genius’s master plan.

Key Features

  • Dynamic Combat Mechanics: New auto-combo support for newcomers, counterattacks, cancelable moves, and “Beat Rush” finishing maneuvers
  • Rage Mode: Build your meters to enter a heightened state, boosting attacks, speed, and unlocking devastating finishers
  • Cooperative Play: Team up with a friend locally, mix character styles, synchronize combos, and strategize
  • Diverse Stage Design: Battle through neon shopping districts, grimy alleys, underground railways, high-security labs, and more
  • Secrets and Unlockables: Optional side missions, hidden weapons, multiple character paths, and surprise revelations
