Neptunia: Unlimited announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Today, Compile Heart unveiled Neptunia: Unlimited, which is planned for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It’s first debuting in Japan on August 27, 2026. Expect a western release and a finalized English name later.

Neptunia: Unlimited is arriving over a decade after the last mainline entry in the series. It’s also the first game in the franchise for Nintendo Switch 2.

Here’s some information about it:

It was the “first meteorite” that heralded the end of the world. As despair enveloped everything, only the goddess Neptune remained in a white space. Guided by a mysterious voice and numbers etched on her cheek – these were signs of a second chance at the apocalypse. Neptune’s “Retry” is activated, and she repeats the “end” and “beginning.” Encounters with new allies and enemies. Overcoming countless defeats, Neptune and her friends confront the “true apocalypse.” To save the world from the crisis of the apocalypse, the goddesses now soar into a new dimension!

The goddesses will soar through the skies as they please! Enemies and gimmicks unique to the air will also appear. Soar through the skies and embark on a new adventure!

The overwhelmingly massive “Apocalypse” will destroy the Gamindustri world!? In “Apocalypse Battle,” all goddesses will participate in the battle! The goddesses will take on an overwhelming battle against a gigantic Apocalypse boss! By making full use of Apocalypse Counter Skills, you can defend against the Apocalypse boss’s large-scale special attacks or unleash powerful attacks!
