Yoshi popcorn bucket revealed for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Multiple movie theatre chains have announced that they’ll be offering a limited-time, Yoshi themed popcorn bucket for the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Usually movie theatre chains try to one up each other by making their own exclusive collectibles, but strangely enough it seems like the big guys have decided to share this time. AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark have all announced that they’ll be offering the Yoshi bucket.

Over the past couple of years we’ve seen these popcorn buckets become more popular with movie-goers, and major movie theatre chains causing these buckets have become much more extravagant . Only three years ago we received just a couple of themed tins and cups for the Super Mario Bros. Movie as seen above, but now we have an entire plastic moulded Yoshi .

It should also be noted that images of this Yoshi bucket have been floating around online for a bit before it was officially announced; presumably by workers who were able to get their hands on the stock early.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will also be receiving another Nintendo Direct this upcoming Monday, March 9 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.
