Warframe gets Nintendo Switch 2 release date, improvements detailed
Warframe was previously announced for Nintendo Switch 2, but this version now has a proper release date. Digital Extremes is bringing it out on March 25, 2026.
The free-to-play online action game will have a number of technical enhancements on Nintendo Switch 2 compared to Switch. Highlights include 60 frames per second, DLSS support, improved graphics, and mouse controls.

- Target resolution: 1080p
- Target framerate: 60 FPS
- DLSS support
- Sun Shadows and Enhanced decals support in docked mode
- High shader quality in both docked and undocked modes
- Faster loading times
- Improved audio quality
- Volumetric lighting
- Higher resolution textures
- Joy-Con 2 mouse support
Those who log in to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe will receive the Ambimanus Pack for free. The offer is valid until April 15, 2026.
