A native version of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered has just launched on Nintendo Switch 2, accessible on the eShop. While the game was technically available via backwards compatibly from the Nintendo Switch release, this is a brand new version for the new console supporting enhanced resolution of 1440p at 60 FPS docked and 1080p resolution at 120 FPS in handheld mode. Those who own the Nintendo Switch version will be able to upgrade at no extra charge in a free update coming soon.

That’s not the only piece of news we have here. A new Challenge Mode has also just been made available on all platforms as well, and it also contains new outfits with upgraded abilities, a level modifier to challenge your skills, and all new achievements to earn.

Here’s some additional information about the update:

New Update Features:
• 10 New Outfits: Complete achievements to unlock 10 New Outfits that enhance Lara’s abilities and push you further on your next run.
• Challenge Mode: Test your skills by customizing levels. Modify health, damage, bonuses, enemies, and more. The higher the challenge rating, the more you’ll unlock.
• 15 New Achievements: Increase your trophy collection with the addition of new Challenge Mode achievements.
