This new accessory lets you play on your Nintendo Switch 2 with one hand
Gaming accessory manufacturer Gametech has just unveiled their latest endeavor, an adjustable Joy-Con 2 grip that will allow you to play games using only one hand. But sadly, their online store doesn’t ship to the US.
The grip comprises of Joy-Con 2 shells that are connected together by a hinge. The hinge locks in 3 angles, one with the SL and SR buttons facing inwards for use with your left hand, one with the buttons facing outwards for right handed use, and one with the controllers parallel to each other for mouse mode use.
Gametech specifies that they aimed to create this product as a more “universal” design. While the product is intended for people unable to use more than one hand due to injury or disability, Gametech also markets the grip as simply for convenience as well. Whether you’re eating a snack with one hand, or scrolling on your phone while gaming, et cetera.
It should also be noted that they also released a one-handed grip for the original Joy-Cons back in 2018. This new grip is essentially the same design, just with altered dimensions to fit the new Joy-Con 2 controllers.
Gametech has even provided a demonstration video for the product, which can be seen below.
