The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct announced for March 9

A new Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct will air on Monday, March 9, Nintendo just announced. It will air at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.

Nintendo will be showing off the latest trailer for the film here. This is strictly about the movie, so don’t expect any game information during the presentation.

As shown in the poster for the presentation, Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2 has now been confirmed. Here’s a slightly closer look:

Finally, the mobile number originally shared for The Super Mario Bros. Movie is active again (thanks Joe). It’s sending out messages telling the recipient to save contact info for Gateway Galaxy and providing a new contact image of R.O.B. It can be reached at 929-556-2746.

This is the third Direct that’ll be held for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. We saw the first one in November to initially show off the film, followed by another one in January which featured another trailer.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct will air just ahead of MAR10 Day on March 10. Nintendo has some Mario game sales planned for the event, which you can read about here.
