Slime Heroes Nintendo Switch physical release on the way

Slime Heroes, which was previously a digital-only game on Nintendo Switch, is now getting a physical release. The boxed version comes from Limited Run Games.
The company opened pre-orders for a standard version today. Currently it doesn’t appear that there’ll be any special editions, though each copy includes a booklet.

Kernel Hearts is appearing on Nintendo Switch, publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Ephemera announced today. They did not share a launch window.
Kernel Hearts is an action RPG and roguelike hybrid with cooperative play. Players will look to ascend the Tower of Babel as they attempt to overthrow God.

Colorbound, a heartfelt puzzle platformer, announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch

Today, publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Panpipe Studio announced Colorbound for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game launches later in 2026.
Colorbound is a heartfelt puzzle platformer in which players use the power of color to shape the environment. In the game, players will go on an adventure to reunite Anku with his late grandfather’s band.

Lake: Season’s Greetings DLC incoming for Nintendo Switch

Lake: Season’s Greetings will be appearing on Nintendo Switch imminently, it’s been announced. The DLC’s primary release date is December 22, 2025, though Japan is getting it earlier on December 11.
Lake: Season’s Greetings is a holiday-themed prequel to Lake. In it, you’ll play as Meredith’s dad, Thomas Weiss, and will be find a warm reunion with Providence Oaks and its inhabitants.

May 8: Whitethorn Games, along with North Star Video Games, set a release date for the new Nintendo Switch version of Spray Paint Simulator. It’ll be out on June 19, 2025.
The game, which has players looking to become the best spray painter the town of Spatterville has ever seen as they build their business from the ground up, was just confirmed for Nintendo’s console last month. Technically there’s a slight delay on the system – other platforms will be getting it later this month.
APICO will have a physical release on Nintendo Switch

Announced today, a physical release for APICO is now in production. Limited Run Games will be distributing.
Limited Run sometimes offers a special edition (or in some cases two of them), but that’s not the case here. We’ll only be seeing standard copies being made available to fans.

Spray Paint Simulator coming to Nintendo Switch

Publisher Whitethorn Games, in partnership with North Star Video Games, today announced plans for a Nintendo Switch version of Spray Paint Simulator. The title arrives this May – we should have a specific date soon.
The game has players meeting members of the Spatterville community as they take on painting jobs to meet their individual needs. Levels will be unlocked along the way, and players can try out Free Spray Mode, which supports single-player and two-player co-op.

We’ve got the release date for Slime Heroes, an upcoming 3D action adventure game and approachable “Souls-lite”. The Nintendo Switch title launches on February 13, 2025.
Slime Heroes was only just confirmed for Nintendo Switch last month. Last we heard, it was planned for early next year.
