Doug Bowser retiring Nintendo of America

Doug Bowser, who has been the current president of Nintendo of America, has announced his departure from the company. Devon Pritchard is now set to take over.

Bowser will depart from Nintendo on December 31, 2025. On January 1, 2026, he’ll hand things off to Pritchard. Additionally, Nintendo says that Satoru Shibata will join NOA as chief executive officer.

Yooka-Replaylee gameplay

Yooka-Replaylee is quickly coming up on its launch, and now we have a proper look at the Nintendo Switch 2 version with direct-feed gameplay.

One thing to mention right out of the gate is that Yooka-Replaylee will run at 30 frames per second on the system. This applies to both docked and handheld modes. Playtonic indicated that it’s had limited time with Nintendo Switch 2 dev kits, but is “investigating the possibility of implementing a performance mode to follow some time post launch.”

Inazuma Eleven Victory Road delay July 2025

July 18: Today, Level-5 announced that it’s once again delaying Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

The game has been pushed back several different times throughout the years, so the latest development may not come as a surprise. In any case, we’ll now be seeing it on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on November 13, 2025. It was most recently planned for August 21.

September 9: Years after it was first announced, Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake has received a status update, including news about a Nintendo Switch version and first screenshots.

Forever Entertainment first shared plans about the remake way back in 2018. At the time though, we knew almost nothing – including which platforms the project would end up on.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake game-key cards

Naoki Hamaguchi, director of the Final Fantasy Remake series, has weighed in on game-key cards for Nintendo Switch 2.

Game-key cards have drawn the ire of collectors since they were revealed. Fans don’t like the fact that you’re basically getting a blank cartridge, requiring the full title to be downloaded. However, Hamaguchi has now offered a different opinion.

Today, Inti Creates unveiled Majogami as its first game for Nintendo Switch 2. The title releases on October 30, 2025, and it will launch on the original Nintendo Switch as well.

Majogami, a project celebrating Inti Creates’ 30th anniversary, is a 2D action platformer. Players take on the role of Shiroha who must slice her way through a twisted paper craft world controlled by the mad Craft Witches.

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered

Koei Tecmo will bring its newly-announced Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the company just announced. It launches on March 19, 2026.

This marks the return of the 2001 action game. Now, however, it’s been entirely remade in Unreal Engine 5 with updated graphics.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Mega Man

Just before the launch of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Mega Man DLC has now been officially revealed. This will be released in the future – there’s no word on when exactly at the moment.

Mega Man himself will be included, but he won’t be alone. Proto Man is also included in the DLC. On top of that, SEGA is including the new Wily Castle course, the Rush Roadstar vehicle, and that legendary theme song.
