Assassin’s Creed Shadows has revealed a new version 1.1.8 update, and it’s dropping on Nintendo Switch 2 later today.
For those playing on Nintendo’s console, there are some notable improvements. For one thing, stability has been addressed. Ubisoft also improved the touchscreen experience and enabled water reflection when playing docked. Elsewhere, the game is getting a manual jump, a Detailed Stats Sheet, and more.

A new update for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 just started distribution with version 2.1.0, and it includes some technical benefits for Nintendo Switch 2 players.
On Nintendo Switch, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 were locked to 30 frames per second, which was a bit of a disappointment. But now that’s moved up to 60 FPS on the new console. We’re hearing of a resolution boost as well to 1080p.

December 18:Dotemu and Guard Crush have unveiled the first post-launch update for Absolum, dubbed “Threads of Fate”. Fans can get their hands on it in early 2026.

Brotato has revealed a new free update, “Paws & Claws”. It’s only available on PC so far, but it’s expected on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch in the near future.
Brotato’s latest update adds a new class of items in the form of pets with nine to discover in all. A new character is also included for free with the Beast Master, which “revolves around collecting as many pets as possible and setting them loose on the battlefield.” Additional quality of life changes and updates are packed in as well.

Updates for No Man’s Sky continue, and Hello Games has pulled back the curtain on the next one – “Remnant”, or version 6.2. It should be rolling out soon on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
As usual the team has packed in a lot here. Highlights include the Gravitino Coil (gravity gun) module, new additions for the Colossus Exocraft, and more. Players can also now assemble their own colossal corvette-class starship on Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Marvelous has issued the latest free update for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, which is version 1.4.0. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch players can download it now.
The update brings new Deluxe Bingo Cards and two new Cherry Blossom-themed gliders just in time for sakura season. Ten new hair and eye colors have also been added a piece as well.
