Publisher Dotemu and developer Auroch Digital have just revealed the release date for Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 16.
Inspired by the 1990s sci-fi film, the game is a retro-style first-person shooter set in the Starship Troopers universe. Throughout the adventure, players “will join the Mobile Infantry in the most realistic depiction of war ever made.”

Today, it was announced that Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War is in development for Nintendo Switch 2. Dotemu and Auroch Digital are bringing it out in early 2026.
The game takes places into the Starship Troopers universe with a retro-style first-person shooter. During the adventure, players “will join the Mobile Infantry in the most realistic depiction of war ever made”.
