Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of April 5, 2026:

Two new sessions have been added to the docket. With the first one, there’ll be a bit of eShop downtime. Following that, a session is planned involving Nintendo Switch Online on the Home Menu.

There are a couple of periods planned, including one for GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2. This is the first time we can recall a dedicated session for that feature.

As of now only one session has been officially announced. Tomorrow, both the Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch eShops will be impacted, but thankfully the downtime isn’t expected to be very long.

There’s a good amount of downtime happening over the next few days. Nintendo’s current systems – Switch 2 and Switch – along with its older ones – Wii U and 3DS – will all be impacted.

Right now two sessions are on the docket. The first is taking place later tonight, but the second won’t be happening until February.

A few more sessions have been added to the lineup. Over the next few days, there’s a lot happening with Nintendo Switch in particular.

As of now there’s technically not anything planned imminently. Instead, an early session has been added to the docket for some Nintendo Account downtime in the middle of January.
