Konami working on Shine Post: Be Your Idol for Nintendo Switch 2

Today, Konami shared that it’s putting Shine Post: Be Your Idol on Nintendo Switch 2. The game launches for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 5, 2025.
Shine Post: Be Your Idol is an idol x management simulation title. In the main mode, you’ll look to become a new manager of an idol agency and support the dreams of idols while running the agency. There’s also Heroines Stories in which players can read the scenario set in the anime/novel version of Shine Post. Finally, with the viewer, it’s possible to freely hold custom live shows using items obtained through gameplay.

Survival Kids coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Announced today, Survival Kids is being made for Nintendo Switch 2. The game launches alongside the system in June for the new system’s debut.
Survival Kids is an exclusive survival adventure game. Konami will be bringing this one over.

Gradius Origins announced for Nintendo Switch

Today, it was announced that Gradius Origins is heading to Nintendo Switch. The package launches on August 7, 2025.
Gradius Origins packs in 17 versions of six arcade classics. You’ll be getting Gradius, Salamander, Life Force, Gradius 2, Gradius 3, and Salamander 2 here. On top of that, Gradius 3 AM Show version will be thrown in. That’s not all though, as the brand new Salamander 3 will be available.
New gameplay features are planned for the collection. These include rewind, save anywhere, reduced hit detection, invincible mode, and more.

Konami’s Suikoden series is not only much-lauded for players of turn-based RPGs, but boastfully comprises a total of eleven games, with five of those being mainline titles and the rest being considered spin-offs. With the original Suikoden hitting the PlayStation back in December of 1996 here in the west, it was a time where RPGs could sometimes be hard to find, with pre-orders being a common way for gamers to assure they’d get to have their own copy rather than being a dirty rental peasant like myself. This resulted in the title being mostly overlooked at the time, but having gathered a bit of a cult following since gaining more traction as subsequent titles joined the roster. Teased originally for a 2023 release, after a delay the first two mainline entries in the series will be available for players on modern consoles with Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars – so if you slept on Suikoden before, or haven’t heard of the series this is a very good time for you to see an example of the golden ages of turn-based RPGs.

Today, Konami and ZDT Studio unveiled Darwin’s Paradox. The project is in the works for multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, for debut in 2025.
Darwin’s Paradox is an action adventure platformer. You’ll play as Darwin, an octopus snatched from the sea and thrust into a mysterious food factory.
