Goodnight Universe gains Nintendo Switch 2 camera support with new update

Skybound Games and Nice Dreams are offering a new feature for the narrative game Goodnight Universe, as Nintendo Switch 2 camera support has now been added in.
This comes as part of the latest update with the “camera as controller” mode, which gives players the option to interact using their eyes and expressions. The same patch also includes several adjustments boosting overall visual fidelity.

Going along with the launch of Goodnight Universe this week comes a new trailer. The adventure game, a follow-up to Before Your Eyes, just came to Nintendo Switch 2 (the Switch version will now arrive on December 18).

As part of today’s Nintendo Direct, we’ve learned when Goodnight Universe will be out. It’ll be heading to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on November 11, 2025.
We originally heard about Goodnight Universe earlier in the year. The emotional adventure game is a spiritual successor to the BAFTA-winning Before Your Eyes.
