Update (5/1): Pre-orders open at Best Buy.
Pre-orders are now live for Mighty No. 9’s physical version. You can reserve the game on Amazon here
or GameStop here. Note that there is not a 3DS option at present, which makes sense given how the portable versions are arriving later.
It’s also worth mentioning that Amazon and GameStop are listing the same price point. Mighty No. 9’s physical release appears to be priced at $30.

Pricing for the “bundle” is set at $49.99. Orders will begin shipping on May 8.

GameStop memo says all wave 4 amiibo allocations have sold out

An internal GameStop memo going out to employees further indicates that the retailer will not be holding online pre-orders for the wave 4 amiibo. As is written in the notice, all allocations have sold out. You can find the memo in full above.

GameStop opened pre-orders for the wave 4 Smash Bros. amiibo earlier today. All reservations were handled in-store (web-in-store, to be specific), and they were never available online.
A notice posted on GameStop’s Facebook account now states that all wave 4 amiibo have sold out. It’s unclear if this is only for web-in-store pre-orders, or all orders in general. If it’s the latter, I’m sure many consumers will be unhappy!
GameStop opening pre-orders for new amiibo tomorrow

Update (4/2): It appears that online pre-orders won’t be opening today after all. Instead, you’ll need to head to your local GameStop and place a web-in-store order.
Following today’s Nintendo Direct announcements, GameStop will soon be opening pre-orders for the new amiibo. As of tomorrow, consumers will be able to reserve Ness (again, GameStop exclusive), Robin, Charizard, Pac-Man, Lucina, and Wario. That’s in addition to the new Splatoon amiibo as well.
GameStop’s pre-orders will go live at 3 PM ET / 12 PM PT. We’ll update the site as soon as they’re available.
