Update: Bumped to the top. Standalone system has now sold out, but there’s an Ultimate 3DS Bundle with the New 3DS XL and both versions of Fire Emblem Fates.
Pre-orders for the Fire Emblem Fates New 3DS XL are now open at GameStop. Place your reservation here. The system launches on February 19, right alongside the game itself.

Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition pre-orders made after Nov. 18 are cancelled at GameStop

Did you pre-order the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition at GameStop after November 18? If so, chances are that your order has been cancelled. An official notice distributed internally indicates that reservations were still possible after this date, but only due to a glitch. Consumers should be receiving a phone call about the cancellation of their order.
For the most part, pre-orders for the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition have been sold out for awhile now at all retailers. GameStop’s website has been out of stock, though it was still possible for gamers to reserve a copy in store.

GameStop has started accepting orders for the new Skylanders amiibo combo packs. Hammer Slam Bowser with Clown Cruiser, in addition to Donkey Kong with Barrel Blaster, can be ordered here. Each one is priced at $25.

Original (1/6): GameStop is planning a special pre-order bonus for Fire Emblem Fates. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive three character keychains. This is valid both in-store and online.
I’ve included a shot from GameStop’s ad showing the keychains above. Because the image was rather tiny, I increased the size so it’d be more visible. That naturally made it blurry!

GameStop is now taking pre-orders for a couple of Nintendo merchandise items releasing within the next few months. The retailer has listings up for an exclusive “Star Fox Limited Edition Fox McCloud Stone Statue” and Zelda: Majora’s Mask Link Nendoroid figure.
Here’s the product description for the Fox figure:

GameStop: Save $25 on the Hyrule Gold Edition New 3DS XL

GameStop recently put New 3DS XL systems on sale for $175. However, the Hyrule Gold Edition system was not in stock. That just changed within the past day or so, and orders can now be placed here.
