All GameStop stores restocking Switch tomorrow for the first time since launch

Switch restocks are starting to become a slightly more regular occurrence. At GameStop, you’ll have another chance to pick up a system starting tomorrow. This will be the first time that all of the retailer’s stores will have units on hand since the March 3 launch.
Thankfully, you can walk right in to GameStop and purchase a Switch without any extra games or add-ons – it will be the standard system for $300. However, bundles will also be offered online.

GameStop has opened up pre-orders for the Samus Edition New 3DS XL announced earlier today. If you’d like to reserve it, you can do so here. The system ships alongside Metroid: Samus Returns on September 15.
GameStop to host new Pokemon Sun/Moon distribution event for Salazzle

GameStop will soon be kicking off a new distribution event for Pokemon Sun/Moon. Early leaflets from the retailer confirm that Salazzle will be handed out to players.
Salazzle will come with the moves Fake Out, Toxic, Sludge Bomb, and Flamethrower. It will also be holding a Focus Sash.
GameStop’s event will begin on August 14. It will last until September 4.

Pre-order Metroid: Samus Returns at GameStop, get a keychain

GameStop has revealed a special pre-order bonus for Metroid: Samus Returns. If you reserve the game, you’ll be entitled to a free keychain.
The offer applies to both versions of Samus Returns – the standard release and Legacy Edition. It also works both online and in-store.

Lineup of locations for the Splatoon 2 event at GameStop this Saturday

We recently learned that GameStop locations will be hosting a special event for Splatoon 2 on Saturday. Nintendo’s website has since updated with the official details, including lineup of locations.
Those who try out Splatoon 2 will receive a free Splatoon 2 color changing cup while supplies last. Note that cup colors will vary.
GameStop’s event will be hosted between 12 PM and 3 PM local time. Find the full listing of locations below.

Switch returns to GameStop stores this week

Consumers still on the hunt for a Switch unit may want to try their luck at GameStop this week. The retailer’s stores across the United States will have stock available between July 17 and July 21.
GameStop hasn’t said how much stock it received from Nintendo. It’s best to call your local store to see what the situation is like.

Although ARMS is already out, GameStop is holding a demo event for the game this weekend. Customers can stop by this Saturday, July 8 to try out the Switch game. If you do attend, you’ll be given a free ARMS sleeve pair while supplies last.
