Gameplay Group provided an update on Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game today, revealing the game’s release date. It’ll be out for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on July 2, 2026. The Nintendo Switch version had not been previously announced.
The game will be sold with a standard version and Deluxe Edition, priced at $29.99 and $49.99 respectively. Here’s what’s included in each:

A new character has now been revealed for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, which adds Toph to the roster.
Toph Beifong is an earthbender and metalbender. As a part of the original Avatar gang and a key character in the series, it’s no surprise that she’s being included.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (tentative title) is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, it’s just been revealed. The game launches Summer 2026.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, a fast-paced 1v1 fighter with ahnd-drawn 2D animation, lets players battle it out with characters from the Avatar franchise. It features proprietary rollback netcode and full cross-play support.
