Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection Online Arcade Khronicle of the Realms

Digital Eclipse has confirmed plans to support Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection post-launch with some additions, which will bring along the Online Arcade feature and The Khronicle of the Realms.

With the the Online Arcade, players will be able to “create private or public rooms, select the games they want to play, and invite friends to join in.” This is being made so that you can essentially have “your personal Mortal Kombat game room, filled with just the games you love most”.

A fresh launch trailer is in for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. Available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the package includes arcade, console, and handheld versions of titles that shipped in the 90s and 2000s.

Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The game doesn’t have a release window just yet.

Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is an arcade style, side-scrolling beat ’em up game. It promises “tag-team mechanics, ridiculous irreverent humor, and fast-paced action.”

August 1: Ahead of EVO – which starts today – Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection has revealed its release date, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and a physical release. At least physically, the package heads to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on December 12, 2025. We’re waiting to see if the digital launch is happening earlier as the Xbox store previously had that down for September 30 before the listing was removed.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy came out in 1996. While largely the same as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, it featured characters and stages restored from Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat 2. 

Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection MK Mythologies, MK Special Forces

August 20: Two more games are joining Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, with Mortal Kombat Mythologies and Mortal Kombat Special Forces now having been revealed.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, an action adventure game, originally came to the N64 and PlayStation in 1997. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces is also in the same genre and launched in 2000, but only on the PS1.

Worms Armageddon Anniversary Edition Backworms Compatible update

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition today was given a brand new “Backworms Compatible” update. This was previously teased late last year.

The update brings along Worms (SNES), Worms (SEGA Genesis) and Worms World Party (Game Boy Advance). Additionally, players can take advantage of the ‘Boggy B’ cheat code which unlocks all content – it’s toggleable in the options.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, it’s been announced. The package is launching later in 2025.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is made by Digital Eclipse, the team behind Atari 50, Tetris Forever, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, and more. The collection will feature titles from the arcade, SNES, SEGA Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear, SEGA 32X, Game Boy Advance, and more. Also included is online play, interviews, and other features.

Tetris Forever update Super Tetris and Tetris (AcademySoft) v. 3.12

Digital Eclipse just announced and released the biggest-ever update for Tetris Forever, which includes Super Tetris and Tetris (AcademySoft) v. 3.12.

With today’s update, the collection now stands at 21 playable games. But aside from new titles, the patch brings major updates for Tetris Time Warp and more.

Digital Eclipse today revealed details about update plans for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, including news about “morphers” and expanded online multiplayer.

With the first new update, which is coming soon to Nintendo Switch, no two playthroughs will be the same. Aside from “morphers”, there’ll be a new skill point system, Power Blast, and ground recover.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Rita's Rewind physical

January 29: Following its launch at the very end of 2024, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is now getting the physical release treatment. It will be available starting May 30, 2025.

The game will be sold standalone at retailers, but a Deluxe Edition is also planned. The latter features a special retail box and cover, steelbook, poster, a 3D lenticular postcard, and individual pixel art collectible Power Ranger cards.
