In an announcement today, Limited Run Games revealed that it’s prepping a physical release of Darwin’s Paradox for Nintendo Switch 2.
The title will have a standard version and a collector’s edition. With the latter, you’ll receive a copy of the game, a slipcover, original CD soundtrack, lithograph, a figure, an engraved wooden pin, and an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

We’ve got the release date for Darwin’s Paradox, Konami and ZDT Studio’s platformer and adventure game. It comes out on April 2, 2026.
Darwin’s Paradox was originally planned for last year. At the time, it was slated for the original Nintendo Switch, but development moved to Switch 2.

Today, Konami and ZDT Studio are no longer listing a Nintendo Switch version of Darwin’s Paradox! on any of their websites or trailers, opting for a Switch 2 release instead. The game’s launch window was also pushed back from 2025, to 2026 for all platforms.
