Truxton Extreme announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, first new entry in almost 40 years

Today, Clear River Games and Tatsujin announced that they’re bringing Truxton Extreme to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The title is planned for July 30, 2026.
Truxton Extreme is the 2026 return to the legendary Truxton series, the first new entry in 38 years. Original Truxton mastermind Masahiro Yuge is now returning for a modern evolution of the shoot ’em up genre.

Culdcept Begins was just announced for Switch 2 and Switch during a Nintendo Direct last week, and a physical release has been confirmed.
This is a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, meaning you’re getting both versions of the game. In other words, it’s playable on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The full game is included on the cartridge.
Taito Milestones 4 announced for Nintendo Switch

Taito Milestones 4 is now in development for Nintendo Switch, Taito and Clear River Games revealed today. The collection is slated for March 26, 2026.
Taito Milestones 4 includes ten more retro games. The lineup is Water Ski, Field Day, Typhoon Gal, Arkanoid, Bonze Adventure, Kuri Kinton, Sylvalion, Don Doko Don, Cameltry, Ninja Kids.

WiZmans World Re;Try is getting a worldwide release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The game launches in the west on February 19, 2026.
WiZmans World Re;Try previously came to Japan last year. It’s an HD remaster of Jaleco’s classic RPG with enhanced 2D pixelated graphics and sound.

Mamorukun ReCurse, which was announced for Nintendo Switch a couple of months ago, today revealed its release date and a physical release.
The game launches digitally on September 25, 2025. Limited Run Games is handling the physical release, of which there will be both a standard version and “Underworld Edition”. The latter features a special box, soundtrack, booklet, and art book as bonuses.
