City Connection

Clear River Games and City Connection sent out a launch trailer for Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers. This marks the return of the Jaleco series with a new title for Nintendo Switch 2.

A launch trailer has been released for WiZmans World Re;Try. After it first came to the DS in 2010 as a Japan-only title, it’s now here on Nintendo Switch with a worldwide launch.

FZ Formation Z physical

It was already confirmed that FZ: Formation Z would be receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan, but Limited Run Games has now announced something similar for the west.

The company is preparing a standard version of the game. Along with a booklet, each copy includes a reversible cover. A Deluxe Edition will also be available which adds a slip-lid box, four art cards, the soundtrack, art book, and a plastic build kit.

Culdcept the First

Not one, but two Culdcelt releases were revealed today with Culdcept the First being the second one. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2026.

This is the return of the series’ original game with some new features. Support is included for rewind, quick saves, and more.

FZ Formation Z

Today, City Connection and Granzella revealed that FZ: Formation Z will be released on Nintendo Switch 2. The two sides are bringing it out on May 21, 2026.

FZ: Formation Z is a side-scrolling robot shooter. This is a completely upgraded version of the 1984 game.

WiZmans World Re;Try

WiZmans World Re;Try is getting a worldwide release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The game launches in the west on February 19, 2026.

WiZmans World Re;Try previously came to Japan last year. It’s an HD remaster of Jaleco’s classic RPG with enhanced 2D pixelated graphics and sound.

Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers

June 8: Rushing Beat X is heading to Nintendo Switch 2, Clear River Games and City Connection have revealed. The two companies did not comment on release timing.

Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers is a return of the franchise that started out on the Super Famicom. The upcoming title will feature nine stages, support for co-op, and more.

Final Formation releases for Nintendo Switch on October 30

City Connection and Happymeal have announced that Final Formation will be launching for Nintendo Switch on October 30, 2025.

Final Formation is the second addition to the “Sci-Fi Multiverse Trilogy”. The game was originally planned to launch last year, but has now finally received a definitive release date.

R-Type Delta HD Boosted physical

Today, Limited Run Games confirmed that it’s working on a physical release for R-Type: Delta HD Boosted on Nintendo Switch in the west.

There are plans for both a standard version and “Full Force Edition”. The latter includes the game, booklet, special box, double CD soundtrack, official fan book, lenticular poster, cloth poster, and art cards.

Mamorukun ReCurse trailer

A new trailer is here to celebrate the new Nintendo Switch launch of Mamorukun ReCurse. The vertical shoot ’em up, first released in 2008, is back and includes new features.
