We have an update on King of Tokyo, including the final release date and news about the physical release.

The board game adaptation is slated for March 21, 2026. For the physical release, there’ll be a standard version and a limited edition. The limited edition has a cardboard figurine and a Blockbuster Bro Monster Board plus eight Evolution Cards.

King of Tokyo

Microids today announced King of Tokyo, a new video game based on the monster movie-themed tabletop game. Fans can expect to see it on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2026.

The upcoming title retains the board game-based experience. You’ll play as a kaiju as you destroy everything in your path – roll the dice and make the best possible combinations to heal yourself, attack, buy cards or win Victory Points.

Rainy Frog announced today that it will publish a new game on the Switch eShop later this month. Developed by Breakfirst, Puzzle Wall has players controlling animals as they try to fit through certain gaps in the wall.
