Pokemon Pokopia x Ikea collaboration goes live tomorrow featuring a special cloud island
A special Ikea cloud island will be appearing in Pokemon Pokopia beginning April 1, and will run until June 30. This collaboration comes to us through the celebration of Ikea’s 20th anniversary of arriving to Japan.
This Ikea island is to feature special room sets designed by actual Ikea designers. The island is to feature two themed rooms, one being inspired by Pikachu, and another by Snorlax. These special rooms are also going to be recreated in actual participating Japanese Ikea stores as shown in the image above.
Participating Ikea stores will also be holding a stamp rally from April 18 to May 10, with 7 Pokemon Pokopia themed different stamps to look out for in stations throughout the store. There will also be Pokemon Pokopia decorations on deserts in the Ikea cafeterias, and themed sticker giveaways and raffles.
Please keep in mind that all of these in person events will only be held in select Japanese Ikeas, and all of the goodies will only be available during the event period and while supplies last.
Thanks to Serebii for the screenshots. Pokemon is out now for the Nintendo Switch 2. Recently we wrote a few lessons we believe Animal Crossing can learn from Pokemon Pokopia, which you can read about here.
