[Let’s Talk] Rate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Posted on April 4, 2026 by (@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch 2

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie finally released this week. Three years after the previous film, Nintendo’s famous plumber is back. There are even some unexpected inclusions this time with Fox McCloud from Star Fox making an appearance.

Did you get a chance to watch The Super Mario Galaxy Movie this week? If so, what’s your rating for the film? Let us know in the comments below.

Highlights from last week’s topic: Will you be buying more first-party Nintendo Switch 2 games digitally following pricing changes?

Pingui

No, I prefer physical. Besides, if you know how to buy, you can get some sweet deals on physical games that often don’t happen on digital, SPECIALLY Nintendo games

Captain N

I will stay physical until the day comes where it’s no longer an option. I like to have something tangible that I can say I bought. I like having the option to lend a friend a game. I like having an option to sell it if I want to. I like having a case, boxart and in some rare cases these days instruction manuals. I prefer not to spend huge amounts of money on memory cards or worrying about downloading using the internet in order to play. I will stay old school for as long as I can.

I prefer digital. I only get physical if it’s considerably cheaper on some sale.

The big factor will be – and always be – if it’s a Game Key Card or not.

I’m a physical media kinda guy, and I love seeing the games on my shelf and getting that sort of reassurance that my games are mine and aren’t dependent on internet connection and the availability of the eShop.

Games already cost 70$ for the high-end ones (starting with the PS5 era), so unless it’s GKC, it’s good for me.
