LEGO Super Mario reveals Luigi Mario Kart set, pre-orders open
The MAR10 Day festivities continue, and we’re now hearing about a new Luigi Mario Kart set for the LEGO Super Mario line. It will be available on April 1, 2026.
The set contains 2,234 pieces that bring Luigi and the Mach 8 to fans in brick form. The buildable figure has a posable head, arms and hands, seated confidently behind the wheel of the first-ever large-scale LEGO brick recreation of the Mach 8 kart.
Here’s some additional information:
Builders can display the kart on its stand at dynamic, race-ready angles, capturing the excitement of a Mario Kart showdown mid-drift. For added interactivity, the model can also be removed from its stand and rolled forward. Turning the steering wheel turns the front wheels, and turning the back wheels will spin the flame exhaust, allowing for a playful movement alongside static display.
For the dimensions, it measures over 10 in. (25 cm) high, 16 in. (41 cm) long and 9 in. (23 cm) wide. It’s a bit pricy, coming in at $180. Pre-orders are already open here.
