Goodnight Universe gains Nintendo Switch 2 camera support with new update

Skybound Games and Nice Dreams are offering a new feature for the narrative game Goodnight Universe, as Nintendo Switch 2 camera support has now been added in.

This comes as part of the latest update with the “camera as controller” mode, which gives players the option to interact using their eyes and expressions. The same patch also includes several adjustments boosting overall visual fidelity.

Here’s some information about how to get things working properly:

To optimize gameplay for the Switch 2 camera, position the camera in a well-lit space 18-24 inches in front of you, ensuring your face is fully visible. Select “Webcam Display” during calibration to check both lighting and framing. When setup correctly, the test circle will turn white when blinking and smiling/frowning will be recognized in the test screens.
