The announcement about Fox McCloud in the film was shared yesterday, and it came as a surprise to many. Although the movie was previously confirmed to have cameos with Pikmin and R.O.B., Fox’s inclusion as a Star Fox representative is a big deal. It’s still unclear how exactly he’ll fit into the story.

Returning cast for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad. Brie Larson is the voice of Rosalina while Benny Safdie is in charge of Bowser Jr. Donald Glover as Yoshi, Luis Guzman as Wart, and Issa Rae as Honey Queen were announced earlier this month.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be in theaters on April 1, 2026.
